Plantation Rum Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel single out distinctive rum expressions based on local heritage and production methods. For this one-time limited edition of Plantation's Four Hands program, he highlighted Peru's rich rum terroir and collaborated with Master Blender Jorge Rodriguez Parajes at Cartavio Rum Company to select the finest casks.
Together, they bring this unique product from the Chicama Valley in Peru. In Plantation Rum's signature double-ageing technique, the rum then traveled by sea to the southwest of France where it was matured in French oak barrels.
The gourmet flavors of this PERU 2006 highlight the formidable blending of multiple vacuum column stills rum coupled with John Dore Pot still distillate, for a complex yet authentic expression from the land of abundance.
