This rum is distilled in Peru by Pot Still and Column Still in 2006, aged 11 years in small ex-bourbon barrels and subsequently aged 2 years in ex Ferrand cognac barrels.
On the nose, almost biscuit notes appear predominant and then leave room for dehydrated fruit and hints of wood. On the palate it is round, full-bodied, with a wide aromatic palette ranging from vanilla to the typical notes of old barrels, then remains fruity and strongly spiced. The finish is long, a great vintage.
