Papalin is a project dedicated to blends conceived by Luca Gargano. The concept is to create blends as they did a hundred years ago, but with rums that are 100 per cent aged in distilleries, in the Caribbean, and therefore tropical ageing. This is how Myers's and John Wray & Nephew did it, buying in the different distilleries of the time in Jamaica and creating their blends. In Papalin, instead of making the blends in Europe, they created them from original, Caribbean products.
The Papalin 6 Y.O. Haiti Ex Sherry Casks is a blend of 3 pot still rums from Haiti for a total of 7 ex-Sherry casks, all entirely aged in a tropical climate.
