Vermouth is a fortified wine named after the German “Wermut” word for wormwood (Artemisia absinthium). Our VERMOUTH EXTRA TROCKEN 015 consists of more than 95% wine and distilled wine. So it is clear: Outstanding quality requires the best wine.
And for the Kollektiv it was clear: A unique vermouth can only be developed if we find a Freimeister who is both an experienced winemaker and an excellent distiller.

Lisa Bauer is a winemaker and distiller who, despite her 28 years of life, has a wealth of international experience. Lisa Bauer is the perfect Freimeister for an outstanding vermouth – and is based in a region known for cultivating Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, the grape variety most favored in the old vermouth recipes.
